What's Up This Week
As part of the body of Christ, each Christian is called to be Jesus to the world, to spread his message of love and mercy wherever we go. While the first image of spreading the gospel that comes to mind may be a minister in a pulpit, that is not the predominant method. Most of the time, it is in the small, everyday things that we do -- the conversations we make, the attitudes we have, the actions we choose -- that radiate Christ the most. When the times come to show Christ's love, what will we do? In "Tarawa," a young, scrawny soldier becomes Christ to his fellow soldiers in the heat of battle.
