Sunday church school is a place to make friends and to bring friends.

Today we've learned about what's been happening in our Sunday church school this year. I'm glad you come to Sunday church school. I'm also glad we have people in our church who are Sunday church school teachers.

What do you like about Sunday church school? (Let them answer.) I like singing, praying, listening to a story, and making things. Do you have friends in your Sunday church school class? I think the church is a good place to make friends.

Do you talk to boys and girls when they come to Sunday church school for the first time? I hope you do, so the boy or girl who is new in your class will feel welcomed and will want to come back the next Sunday.

If you have a friend who doesn't go to Sunday church school, I wish you'd bring that friend with you. Next Sunday might be a good...
